Find a tag on the rearend or the code on the door jamb sticker. The tag will have some numbers, usually something like 3.50 and usually the "3" has a bolt hole punched through it. The door jamb will have a code we can look up if it's the original rear.

For example if it's 3.50, that means your driveshaft will turn 3.5 turns when the tire turns 1 turn. If you have a 3.08 ratio, the driveshaft will only turn 3.08 turns while the tire will turn 1 revolution. So a 3.50 ratio will make the engine turn faster than a 3.08 ratio, if you keep the same road speed.

We'll need the number on the sticker on the cab where the door shuts, has your VIN on it and everything.

You will see "Axle Code" on it, give us the axle code, we'll be able to tell you what is your gear ratio.
