i am trying to install a direct reading temp guage on a 1995 f350 4x4 with a 460 engine. there two sending units on the intake manifold right behind the dist. one has one wire going to it and the other has 2 or 3 wires. which one do i remove to install the new guage?

the one wire sending unit is the visual temp dash guage, the two wire sending unit sends temp info to computer ecm,,,maybe there is another coolant plug on the intake check thermostat housing, you could also install a tee in one of the heater hoses, a mechanical guage is the best my opinion ,right now im in the process of installing two oil pressure guages with a brass tee, one will be electrical other mechanical
