Im currently in the market for a 4.9L engine, straight six 1992 or newer, just wondering what i can expect to pay for such a engine?

Im also interested in 1994 trans, that would be similar to my friends with the electric overdrive feature what would something like this run me?

 

At the local P&P you are looking at around $300 for the pair. Also, unless your truck already is an E4OD, you will have to make some changes to put in the trans (wiring, ecm, etc).

 

will that differ in different parts of the country, ex. if you lived in CA and i lived in PA?

 

Where are you at? I have an '88 F150 that i've striped down for body parts, it's got a 98k miles Straight 6 in there and a 5 speed standard trans.
