What's it worth??

We are a Fire District in rural Arizona wanting to sell a 1972 Ford F250 with 14,000 original miles. Looking for an idea on what it's worth. In 2003-2004 we went thru the whole truck with some up grades, Factory tinted glass. Relocated gas tank beetween frame rails, Engine upgrades. We do not have the original bed. We have pictures at www.chinoazfire.com look for the link to old pictures. Any help on a vaule would be appreciated.

Put it on Ebay and see what someone will pay for it. That's the true test. Check craigslist, auto trader classics, etc. and see what people are asking for them, also consider the asking price versus how long it's been for sale. Some of the higher priced stuff seems to sit a while in this economy.

I actually lived in Chino Valley about 10yrs ago, nice little high desert community, based off your brief description and the few pics, i could easily see that rig fetching 4K on ebay, possibly upwards of 6K, if the right buyer comes along, the missing bed detracts some value, but can easily be replaced, it looks like the desert air and low mileage have been very kind to that truck, i'd list it on ebay with at least a 4K reserve and see what happens.

Ditto on highboy's assessment, shouldn't have a problem moving that for at least 4K...patience and finding the right market/venue is the key.
