Problem with cruise control....
I've had an intermittent problem with my cruise control on my SD in my signature. On long interstate trips and after the cruise has been engaged for a while, the truck shutters and the cruise control disengages and the ABS light comes on for no apparent reason. This occurs while traveling on flat interstate at approx 70-80 mph. When I engage the cruise right after this happens, it works but the ABS light stays on. The ABS light stays on until I stop and turn the truck off for a short while. Other than that, the truck seems to be running flawlessly.
I recently had the computers reprogrammed due to a fuel gauge problem, but this had occurred several times before the reprogramming.
I am on the road traveling up north as I write this and will not be able to take it to my dealership until I get back in 4 days. Anyone have this problem before?....Any ideas of what may be causing this problem? Thank you in advance for any and all input.
