F250 4x4 conversion
I know this has been beat to death but my question should be simpler I was considering converting my 2wd 1987 f250 460 np435 to 4wd, now I'm not looking for a hardcore off roader, my ideal set up is a basic 4x4 ie(so if it happens to snow more than planned I can get through or if Im helping a friend and drive into a yard and it happens to be soupy I can driive out without needing a tow) so what would you guys recommend ttb or straight axle etc? ive seen alot of post saying a dana 44 from f150 with f250 spindles would work but i'd like so advice maybe from people who have done this.
