Another cold start question

Hi everyone here is the problem I have an 89 f250 4x4 with a 7.3 diesel I have had the truck for about a month and when I got it the wait to start light would stay on for like 5 seconds then go out the truck would startup right away, with the motor hot of cold the truck always started the same (very well). This week the wait to start light would stay on for a long time and the truck wont start, with a quick shot of eather she fires up, I have serched and can only come up with GPCM the truck also used to make alot of clicking noise after the light went out and it isn`t now what is the clicking sound? and where is the GPCM located and what does it look like? if this sounds like the problem could someone please post a pic showing the part so I can fix it, or give me some other possable problems and fixes, Thank you.

Another cold start question

Randy,
I have an 86- 6.9, I thought the CPCM had quit on me only to find I had 4 out of 8 GP's burnt out, it will make the GPCM act wierd if you have several GP's out, did you check them yet?

Another cold start question

No i didn`t check the glow plugs but today I was looking at the conections for what I think are the glow plugs, where I was looking is between the fuel rail and the card there is a small plug that sticks up with 1 wire attached to it some of the wires I could move easly and some that felt like if I budge it the wire might fall off, the truck seems to be very hard on fuel but the exact ## I havent checked and there dosn`t seem to be alot of power feels sluggesh, but as I said earlyer the truck did start right away before this week and other than that realy nothing has changed with its proformance.
