IRS width

My Mark VIII is in a position that doesn't allow me to measure the rearend width at the moment. I spent all night searching for the answer last night and couldn't find it. A guy is selling one on Ebay. He said that flange to flange is 64 1/2". That sounds about 5" too wide. Does anyone know the correct width for this rearend??

I don't know about the MKVIII IRS but a stepside 1/2 ton box is around 49 inches wide measured to the outer edge and the fenders are about 11 inches. Adding 49+11+11 give you about 71 inches to play with. Using a standard 7 inch rim there would be no zero offset.
