i have checked around really have not found a good answer. I have a 2004 f250 sd with a leveling kit in the front but i need new shocks. Can anyone help me. i know i need longer travel in the front but not sure which brand to go with
It will depend on your specific needs and your wallet. Shocks of choice are Bilsteins but some like the Rancho 9000xl adjustable.
Personallly i would go with the Bilstein. Superior in control but might not be as soft as the 9000 adjustables. Both a little pricey but you get what you pay for. In your case for the extended shock you will need the 5100 series. You can go to shockwarehouse.com for the part numbers. Be advised these are typically back ordered but you might get lucky. There are other brands if you do a search.
