Wiring Diagrams
I have a problem about my electrical problem htat occured about 3 weeks ago. I went out of town and on the way back I got stuck in traffic due to an accident, while waiting to get through, which lasted up to 45 minutes, I notice my ammeter go from a charge to no chage and my check engine light came on. I made it home and checked the alternator by taking off pos. cable, and truck acted like it was the alternator, while taking off the alternator I noticed a connector had melted thanks to the close proximity it was to exhuast manifold. I clipt offf the connector and attempted to splice wires together and I am still without any power to the truck even though I have power to the solenoid that is connected to the firewall. Negative cable has good continuitity to motoer and the positive cable was replaced. I have a feeling that the insulation on the wires passed the connector are melted also, so I cannot find a very viable wiring diagram and I was hoping that somebody on here may have one.

there is a place on the net that sells the wiring diagrams about $10 each. I bought it when I put electric windows, seat etc in my 94.
do a search for wiring diagrams on your favorite search engine and you will find them.
