Heater core replacement

i have a 78 f150 4wd thats been sitting for 10 years and i put a rebuilt motor .. and i broke in the cam last wed and i saw yesterday when i was driving it around the block that theres water dripping on the passenger side floor board .. i want to know how hard its going to be and how long it would take ? thanks

Not bad at all should be able to do it in under an hour easily! There is quite a few threads on here that gives directions! Its Simple as can be!

Well, actually depends on whom you ask...some have found it easy, others say it's a real pain. I think it's a pain with AC but once you get it done you'll be glad. Search for threads and you'll find some links to good instructions with photos.

Do yourself a favor and replace that 33 year old blower motor while your at it. It's located BEHIND the heater core Also, it constantly runs on low even when the heat/cool is turned to off. When the bearing starts to go, it will drive you nut's.

just replaced it...it was easy... rider man I should of done that but I didn't see your post ...
