chasing coils
i recently had a tune up done . when i drove it to work that night it started running like crap . i had a 1/2 tank when i brought it in and figured maybe moisture in the line so i filled it with 97 oct ,,added drygas . it ran even worse so it went back in . scanned misfire on coil # 3 and bad plug, had that changed . on the way to work (over 1 hr ride ) it started running crappy again .i let the tank run dry , filled again with 97 oct. and no change , so back it goes and scans misfire on # 6 . changed the plug and swaped out #6 for #5 and so far it seems to be ok . no codes showed up . i wont know till i start driving hard again . should i now worry about the coil swap and is this something commom ? trucks an 02 cc xlt lariat 4x4 5.4 v8 .
