Pulling 5.0 from van
What is the best way to attach the engine hoist to a 91 E150 5.0, w/ AOD. Remove the intake competely or just the upper? Would removing the tranny along with it be easier? Have an engine tilter but not sure if there is enough room to use it.

pull the upper intake, and try to hook on the heads, not the intake bolts, there might be places to hook an engine chain to on the block already (little pieces of metal with big holes), I would take the motor a tranny out as a unit easier to hook the tranny to a new motor out of the truck than in it.
