New Tires!

So, I started thinking about new tires before I tow my boat or camper...
I found a good deal on tires/wheels/lift through a coworker. 35x12.5 BFG KM2 on Eagle Alloy 10x17 rims, and a spring lift (front and rear) he thought was 4 inches. It was removed from a truck because the owner got tired of climbing up into the cab. Tires look good, are load range D, and are like $250+ new! The rims aren't cheap either... I tracked down the numbers printed on the springs, and it turns out it's a ProComp 6" lift. I'm not to keen on the lift, so I put the wheels on today. See photo... Sure do look more proportional to the truck! The driveway isn't flat, so the left front tire is about 2" high... the gap is bigger... I had to remove the factory mud flap, trim the piece of plastic on the bottom of the bumper where it wraps around, and I tied back the inner fender plastic. It drives well, but I get some rubbing at about 2/3 turn inside the rear wheel well, about four inches in, especially if articulating. So, I'm going to order a 2" level kit and see if that works. Might get a little more aggressive making room in the fender as well. The good news is I'm not touching springs, so the offset is good.
I'm placing a decent sized order with Clay this Monday... Time for gauges, FRx, HPx, valve body, derale cooler, and fumoto drain.
Then it's time to change all fluids, front to rear... That will be a good time...
Then I'll head over to the 'failure prevention' thread and see how you guys are going to have me spending the weekends after that...
