A down and dirty way to check the GPR is: Turn the key "ON" and watch the battery/charging gauge. You will see the needle bounce up slightly when the WTS goes off in 20 seconds or so (depending on the ambient temperate). Continue to watch for another 2.5 minutes. If it does "jump" up more in 2+ minutes than the GPR is most likely toast.
I just went out and tested it. I sat in the truck for about 3 minutes, there was no noticeable jump in the volt gauge at all. It remained on the "N" of normal the entire time.
Sounds like the GPR. I could be that ALL the GP's are bad (not pulling any power from the GPR that is trying to give away) but I doubt it. Are you getting smoke?
James, that GPR look like it is on it's side. Has that been modified some sort of way?
It doesn't really smoke much. Occasionally on a really cold day there will be 5-10 seconds of white smoke, but as I understand it, that's normal. White smoke for a long time typically is a sign of bad plugs, right?
plugs or (and most likely) GPR. If you can, plug it in overnight and see what happens. I know you live in apartments so can you bring it to a friends and plug it in and use their vehicle overnight?
Yeah, I have the ability to plug it in so I'll test it. Any other methods of checking the relay? I'd like to have concrete evidence before I put a new one in. Thanks guys for all of the advice.

Clamp a jumper cable clamp on the 2 large posts on the GPR , (not the batteries when cold) .. My bet is it will start right up ...

If it starts right up in the mornig, you will have concrete evidence
Hey guys, first I just wanted to thank you all for all of the good advise. I did some testing today with the voltmeter and sure enough the GPR wasn't working properly. I had a spare one, so I hooked that one up and it too wasn't working. I checked the ground and it turns out it was getting a bad ground. I got the problem all taken care of, so I cant be sure til the morning, but the GPR should now be working properly.
