I prefer the carpets over the rubber mats, is it a 'do it yourselfer' it really came out looking good? I installed the aluminum backed jute sheeting then used alum. tape to secure it to the floor, certainly cut down on some of the road noise. Again, carpet looks good!!
Thanks everyone. The carpet came from Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. I've done a few of these over the years, but I think this was the easiest and best fitting one I've done. I've had this carpet for a few years waiting for a project and even tho it was not real warm the day I installed it, it went in perfectly. It was the first loop carpet, the others were cut pile, maybe that was part of the difference? I also glued some insulation on the floors and then put the carpet down. The hardest part was trying to find the holes I had drilled to mount the seats and seatbelts.
Allen, you'll have to stop by and see it. Are you going to Don's this weekend? I did remember I needed a tailgate if he has a good one.
