Well, looks like I might have found me another project truck...from the description it is a '74 F100 SWB, doesn't have a bed, but has a 351 Cleveland with AOD transmission...new radiator, engine was rebuilt in 2000. Will need a carb and tune up, engine is said to be a good running one, along with the transmission. Will be getting some more pics and will upload as I get them...still working out the details, but it is for the most part a done deal...hope to pick it up first of the week...

Reason: Changed Title
I like to think so as well. This one will take a bit more work than my '78, but will give me a chance to do a few different things. I am really considering doing a flat bed on it, since it doesn't have a bed, and chances of finding another swb donor truck with a descent bed will be small, figure why not. Besides, it will cost less on a paint job!
Got it home today! It was a LOOOONG day, but got it home safe and sound...overall it is really good shape...cab has ZERO rust, frame has some, but nothing a little time can't cure...it has new leaf springs in the rear, and new bushings and cab mounts, I will get some better pics up tomorrow, but here she is on the trailer right before I unloaded her this evening.
650, I had a set of those rally wheels in an 8 lug but they were 16.5 inch rims and impossible to find tires for so I took them to the recyclers. I couldn't give them away!
Those tires are 275/60/15...the rims seem to be in really good shape...will have to clean them up and verify...
Also, my '78 didn't have trailer lights, but I really needed them, especially driving almost 200 miles round trip...didn't want to cut into or butcher my current wiring...so I found this http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q.....cost]Advance Auto Parts - Product Not Found - 6252702-P[/url] me about $15.00...it took longer in the store to get it and pay for it, than it did for me to install it...literally plug and play!
Hope to get some good pics and start tinkering around on it some tomorrow...would love to get it running by this weekend, but who knows...
To be honest...I traded a Pistol for it...It was a Springfield XD45...I had right at $400 in it, but it was well worth $500+...I have the whole Springfield XD line (9, 40, 357sig, and 45). I had 2 only needed one...so I think it was a REALLY big STEAL!
650 I have a set of those fins, and alum slots/mags and alum spokes, all 16.5
just braggin......sorry

CalebJns nice truck glad to see a Ford being towed by a Ford. And the spot light beam on the first night pic is freaky, its like "AAHHHHHHH" angel sound.
