I proposed this question in the trans, diff forum. I havent recieved a lot of posts so I thought I would bring it here also. I sold this truck to my brother in law a year ago. Just before I sold it to him I had the trans rebuilt. I installed a new throwout bearing then buttoned it up. The guy I bought the truck off of said he installed a new clutch, press, tob. Now 1 year with the bro inlaw and it needs to be smashed to the floor to shift, and it still grinds. I installed a new master and slave cyl. removed the pedal assembly, fixed the loose shifting pin, bushing thing that the push rod goes on. No difference. I feel that the pressure plate must be bad. I really dont know though. It makes a groaning sound when the clutch is pressed in. I'll take any and all ideas. I have to work on this thing for free so fun as that sounds ITS NOT The last thing I want to do is pull this trans again. If I do pull it I guess I will replace everything. Clutch, press plate, throw o bear, flywheel, pilot bearing, throw out bear shifting fork etc: I appreciate any help.
Thanks
Todd.
