detroit true trac

hi,

i need help.
i need to know if a dana 44 front detroit true trac for a 1980 jeep wagoneer will fit into a 1979 ford f150 4x4 dana 44 front differential?

i'm currently upgrading my gears in the f150 to 4.88 and instead of buying a new carrier to suit the 4.88 i found a dana 44 detroit true trac for a jeep wagoneer,and want to know if it will just slip it as knowing if there all universal?
