I am very sad to say that the time has come that I am forced to sell my truck. I know there were some people interested in it and I am letting you know that it will be listed on E-bay later today. I wish there were some other way to work things out but it has to go. Let me know of there are any questions.
Well, my baby is officially up for sale on E-bay. I am thinking it will be in the 8-10k range by looking at some of the past auctions of much lesser trucks.
What's special is that this is a survivor. I'm in the process of restoring my '82, but it will never look that good. I'm impressed. The engine compartment is way cleaner than mine and I've cleaned mine a lot.
I'm probably at ~$4K in mine and have yet to do the body work and paint, which could be another $2 - $3K if I were to have it done rather than do it myself. Plus, I badly need a new/replacement tailgate, and the best that the bed will ever be is to be shot w/liner to hid the dings. Then there's the interior - I need to paint my panels, but even then they'll never be as good as on his truck. As for the dash panels, I didn't know anyone had the woodgrain in such good shape, and doubt mine will ever look that good - in fact, I'm considering going w/the mesh Custom panels to get something that's fresh and clean.
All in all, that is a beauty. Please let us know how the auction goes.

Just checked out your truck on Ebay, it truly is sharp. You did a good job showing what it looks like. You might be asked for a few underside shots though. Hope you can get near what you need out of it.
Yeah I think I will add some undershots tomarrow. It was well undercoated and not much to see but I will add some just to show everyone the underside. Thanks for the positive comments.
I think you got high hopes for 8-10k to be honest. Yes, it's nice but at the end of the day it's a 1/2 ton with a 302, TTB setup, a bad rear gas tank, bad a/c compressor, needs some work with the paint, standard cab long box... Other issues, I don't trust the mileage without service records (the only record is from when you registered the truck) and the General tires weren't standard issue on a Ford as far as I know (Firestone and Goodyear were). Like I said, it's a nice truck but you're selling at a bunk time with the bad economy, high fuel costs, and the (usual) after winter truck market flood. Only thing good about the timing is tax season, but a lot of folks have already burned through that by now. Things you also might consider is stating that it's a 3 spd auto (C5 or C6 though?), the axles, gearing, and if open/lsd. Take it for what it's worth, but I've been bopping around this game for some time.
