Manual transmission???

Is there any manual transmission that you can hook up to this engine?

Nope! The crank shaft is not even drilled for any type of pilot bearing. Ford will be offering this engine in the medium duty trucks starting in 2012 from what I have heard and you will have 3 trans options in those from what I heard at the upfitter convention and there was also talk of AISIN providing trannies for ford's medium duties in 2012 but I am not holding my breath on that.
