I have a tan interior in my truck and want to upgrade interior parts without going to the wood look. Anybody have ideas on how the carbon fiber or billet would look on tan interiors.
I have a carbon fiber dash and door kit plus a tan interior.
At first I was scared that it would look stupid. (I couldn't resist the damn "Buy-it-now" on ebay ) It actually matches the darker parts of the dash and looks quite nice. I get many compliments.
When I get my truck back I can send you pics if you like.
I am about to install a carbon fiber dash and door kit in my 2003 F250SD today. Hope it goes well and is easy . I saw a customers vehicle with the woodgrain trim upgrade and I really liked it. His dash was tan and it matched real well. I'll post and maybe get pics when finished.
Several weeks ago, I found a company that makes different colors of carbon fiber kits. Wish I remembered their name. Anyway, they had tan, red, grey and several other stlyes. I was looking at red since my exterior is maroon. Pretty high rent stuff. Do a search under dash kits. It'll take awhile since there's a lot on the market. I'll keep looking and send you the url if I can find it.

Not that I would do this , but i have seen a few cars/trucks with painted/fiberglass dashes. Take the stock dash - apply a small layer of fiberglass , sand , then paint and clearcoat. Will turn out with the same finish as the outside of your truck...
