C6 question
i put a 351w and c6 from an 85 f150 4x2 into a 78 f250 4x4. i had to take out the tailshaft and tailstock off my 400 c6 and put in my c6 for the 351W. My transmission is starting to go out and i'd like to get a rebuilt one for it. i was wondering if anyone knew if the tailshaft and tailstock on say an 85 C6 would allow me to mount up the cast iron np205 from my 78 truck. thanks for any help.
