Worth it? or go Autometer?

Just happened to go past this set of gauges and was curious if they're worth thinking about or just go with autometer?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004CFDD9O/ref=mp_s_a_20?qid=1299721979&sr=1-20

Thanks in advance

Some guys have gone with the Glowshift gauges and like them. I thought about trying one of them out as a secondary pressure gauge for transmission pressure.

There has been complaints about seeing the gauge in bright sunlight, so research that too.

Your link isnt working. I have Glowshift gauges and have no complaints other than when it rains my egt guage will drop to 0* and then shoot back up to where it really is, im sure its something I did I havent looked into it. Theres a lot of guys running them with no problems.

I went ahead and ordered them. Seems like its more of a personal opinion kind of deal. I'll see how they work and if they are trash I'll send them back and if not then I'll keep them.

Thanks for the input.

I got the boost, egt, and trans temp. The wiring kit could have been simplified but it was easy enough to use. I used 2 fuse taps to wire the constant and key on source and I think that made it quite a bit easier. You can get them for about $7 at autozone. If you get a boost gauge you might want to get some longer hose because the one that came with mine was too short.

What part of Texas are you from?

Ive already got a boost gauge but its a 15 psi. Like I told that other guy, the kid I bought it from didn't know anything.

I'm from Houston (actually Cypress) but at the moment I'm down in the Corpus Christi area (Kingsville). I'm going to school down here for Architectural Engineering.

You from this bad a$$ state?

Yes I am! I actually grew up in Corpus and Rockport. I'm living in the San Marcos area now. Moved up here for college and stayed when I graduated. Small world.

Sorry to get off topic.

No worries, I already ordered the Glow Shift gauges.

It is a small world but when you think about how big FTE is then you realize you're bound to be near someone. Shoot, I don't remember who it was but he's a member here with thousands of posts and hes in Hawaii lol

I've got a bunch of buddies that are over there in San Marcos going to school right now. When did you graduate? What degree?
