Need a little help.

Hey all, Im back again for another sip from the well of knowledge. This is whats going on. Im still talking about my 1990 F-250 4x4 with 5.8L and a C6 transmission. A few days ago, maybe about a week, the red brake warning light and the yellow ABS warning light come on simulateously. They stayed on for a bit and somewhere in the course of driving my wife to work (15 min.) they turn off. I thought it was weird. Just started out of nowhere. I use the truck everyday several times and have not come across any pattern of when the lights come on and go off. Start, coast, braking, accelerating, idling, no apparent pattern except that both lights come on and go off together. So my question is this, what is it? Thanks in advance for the advice. I know its probably a newb problem. My dad always said that if you keep looking for the problem and cant find it, start looking in the mirror.

Start with the easy things. Make sure that the brake fluid level is good. Make sure that the electrical connections at the master cyl are clean and tight.
