Steering Box

Hey guys, I'm looking for a manual steering box from an early 70's Hi-Boy (73 or so). I know most people try to upgrade to powersteering, but I'm not normal....LOL!! I have a steering box from a 75 that would accept powersteering. I'd be willing to trade it for a manual box, or I would buy the manual box outright. Let me know if you have anything laying around.

Thanks

OK guys, I guess I don't need the entire box. All I need is the draglink that runs from the steering box to the front diff. This would be available on any hi boy that did not have powersteering from the factory. I'm eliminating my draglink with the actuator valve for powersteering.

Do you have the power ram assist set up? How well does that work?

Yeah, that's the setup that I have. Personally, I hate it. I don't think it works that good, and I'm always fighting leaks. Eventually, I'm going to upgrade to the 78/79 box, but for the time being, I'm going to eliminate the powersteering all together. For the amount of driving I do with these trucks, and what I use them for, I am comfortable with manual steering.

If I was you, I would find a setup from a 78/79 and mount that steering box.
