Well both of my fuel pumps need removed bc one i beleive is shot and the other is clogged. Does one relay under the hood run both pumps? I can hear my front one kick on but not my rear one. Cause if one relay runs one pump then i just have a relay out but if one runs both then the rear pump is out.
Ok then that does mean my rear tank pump is shot bc i cant hear it come on. I used it on my way home and boom everything shut down. I did some eliminating and fuel delivery is my problem not getting any fuel to the fuel filter even with my front pump turning on.
I would make sure it is getting power to the pump motor when selected, key on and pin #6 of the self-test connector shorted to pin #2.
Use a test light with a bulb in it to put a load on it to test this circuit.
A meter does not work well and will drive you nuts as you will see voltage that is not there.
You can unplug each tank near the frame at the pigtail going to the tank to test for power.
Make sure you use the ground in the plug coming from the harness and not the frame.
Here is a diagram so you know what wire colors to check (the ground is Orange, the power for the front is Red and the rear is Brown with a white stripe):
