egr delete kit question

i'm thinking of buying an egr delete kit for my 04 F-350, should i buy the river city kit? where should i get it? been looking at that one on amazon.com, just not sure. any help would be great.

You should be able to use the "Make an offer" function on Ebay and get it for about $175 +/-. It's a good quality kit. Just remember to reinstall your EGR valve and use the little block off plate for a decoration.

I just installed the Sinister kit, my truck threw 2 soft codes for the EGR not being plugged in.

Truck idles noticeably smoother.

Just be aware that you could potentially have engine cooling fan issues by not having the EGR valve plugged in. Heck....install it and plug it in. It won't get any flow and you won't have to worry about the A/C and fan when it gets hot.

I have the RCD kit install and I liked it. I thought it was a good quality kit for a reasonable price.

BTW, I did keep my egr valve plugged in to avoid any issues with the fan. There are some threads that document how having egr disconnected can throw the fan out of whack.

has anybody installed or know someone who has installed a custom diesel egr delete kit? they are on e-bay and really reasonably priced, i know u normally get what you pay for, just wondering if it was too good to be true. customdiesel.com is there web adress thanks in advance.
