PTO help please !
I have a 1973 F-350 with a PTO driven hydraulic pump for a dump bed. I want to bolt the 1973 PTO unit to 1993 transmission. Will the 6-bolt PTO drive unit transfer directly to a 1993 F-350 with a 7.3 diesel with the 5 speed overdrive trans?
I will be checking to see if they both have the same 6 bolt PTO pattern. The 1993 trans does have a 6 bolt blank cover, but I haven't checked to see if the patterns are exactly the same. For what it's worth, they look the same. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
