Engine Replacement Tips

I finally got a replacement 460 for my 250, and I have never had to replace a engine before. Is there anything that I should really worry about? The engine is currently set up as a generator, so there are a couple of things that I will need to remove, but should things like my ac pump ect. bolt on with no problems?

If you are replacing a 460 with another 460 then just transfer the brackets ect. over to the new engine. If it's something other than a 460, we need too know what it is. JIM

If it is your Ranger with the 460 already in it, like Jim said all bracks will intercahange. I would unbolt the A/C and hang it on the side without disconnecting the hoses. On a
2wd, I would pull engine with the trans, That way you can put the trans and engine togather easier and put it back in.
