73-96 (97 for 250hd's & 350's) rims will fit. All 150's and Broncos will have the same bolt pattern and all 250/350's will have the same bolt pattern.

That good info to know 704!! The two major tire/wheel websites don't even list the F100 when you go back that far in years. Apparently Ford only built Mustangs according to them!!

Thank you 704 dentside man I was aware that the 1/2 ton and bronco rims interchanged however was not aware of the 3/4 and 1 ton rims inter changing so i learned something. as a side note the rims off of a 1/2 ton dodge pickup and ramcharger will also fit the 1/2 ton and ford bronco as they were also a 5 on 5.5 patern.

No problem...3/4 and 1 tons call for an 8x6.5 pattern. Also, when swapping rims between manufacturers, you need to be careful and make sure if it's a hub centric or lug centric rim and what your application calls for. I can't speak on the Dodge rims, but 5x5.5 Jeep rims work on Ford 1/2 tons as well.

Although the bolt pattern is the same for both the old Dodge and Ford, the center hole is to small for a Dodge to fit a 4x4 F150. Or so I have been told .

That is correct...........Ford will fit Dodge and Jeep but not the other way around. Fords have a larger center hole.

I will have to give thanks for the great info on the rims and the interchange between them however i can draw one exception from experience i had a 1975 powerwagon full time four wheel drive that came to an early demise ( A story for a later time ) that i removed the rims and tires from and placed on my 1985 Bronco and they fit perfectly....now with that being said i now wonder if it was just a fluke or if i was sold a set of rims that were suppose to be ford original rather than dodge?

704dentside, does it matter if the wheel is hub centric or lug centric? I'm in the process of finding a wheel (set of 4) for my '78 F250 Crewcab 4x4. The wheel manufacturers don't really list whether their wheels are hub or lug centric. Can you enlighten me?

A Power Wagon with full time four wheel drive would have a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, they wouldn't have fit a Bronco, unless you're talking about a Bronco II?
They were also 5 on 4.5

Another thing I got a set of 98-00 8 lug wheels an needed wheel adapters NAPA don't carry any & Advance Auto does they get them from Keystone for wheel adapter for a 8 lug its $206 per adapter an you would need 4 of them. The wheel adapters are pricey stick with the wheels that will fit your truck only.

What kind of wheels are they? 8-lug? What's the width of them and the backspacing? I am interested.

So if I'm looking for 8 lugs for my 73 f250 I can use f250's up to 96?

Essentially, it's how the rim rides, if you get the wrong orientation you'll probably notice a new wobbling. I've never heard of a rim failing under these conditions, just something to be aware about.

Actually...up to a 97 250HD or F350. Same bolt pattern of 8x6.5...after that, I believe they went to 8x170mm...it's close, but no cigar.
