another "no heat" Q.

I have an 85 E-150 conversion van with a 351W HO. The engine was replaced about 5k miles ago and ever since then the heater has not worked.
I took the dash apart and checked to see if the cable that lets you select from hot and cold was stuck or not connected but it was fine. I then noticed a black/pink box, with vacuem lines hooked up to it, was warped. I tied it down to see if that would work but it didnt . Its also stuck on defrost I can't get it to blow from the vents or floor.
I noticed that the black/pink box had missing lines to it and I'm thinking that this might be the problem so I took pic of it so you guys can tell me if I'm missing vacuam lines:

The thermostat is 180degrees and its filled with 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze. the van runs great with its new engine but it always runs hot and has high oil pressure. its still marks in the normal range but too high for comfert. Heres a pic:

Disregard my speed and tank readings, one was going downhill and the other does not mark once it reaches half a tank. But this is basically the readings I get from the gauges once its warmed up and running normally

Sounds like whoever replaced the engine didn't hook up the heater hoses.

The failure to switch from defrost is unrelated to the lack of heat - it's strictly from the damaged vacuum control box (pink & black). Once you fix that, you can reset your idle speed & mixture because you will have closed a vacuum leak.

I thought the defrost, heat and off positions were cable controlled?

Only on '87-88, then it went back to vacuum. Only fresh/recirculate (Max A/C) is always vacuum. Temperature is always cable.
