Thinking about trading

Was just wondering what everyone was thinking about the new 2011 diesels might be time to trade in my 03 for a new one. Drove a new one last week they sure have added a lot of high tech features and lots of power but it all comes at hefty $$$$$ Iam always scared to buy something in its first year out though any thoughts?

i was contemplating same thing but for a 6.4l in a 09 or 10 they have a left over 2010 but the price tag stopped me and i got a good thing going still with my 7.3 maybe in 2 more years. for now i love my 03 and probliy just going to keep cus by then they will give me $10000 trade in and it worth more to me than that so ill keep and buy the one i want the 2011 nice but i cant swing that purchase on a new engine that hasnt proven itself for more than 12 months

My son is a technician(mechanic)at Colvert Ford in Hutto. He says they have not seen any real problems with the 6.7 yet.I went to visit him and was looking at them to see what all they had.It was a 2011 4x4 Lariat. When I seen the sticker price I was done looking at them$61,000

If you want a new truck and all the creature comforts that are available these days, and have the cabbage laying around go for it! It appears they got it right the first year so I wouldn't sweat it.
