1985 F100 Engine

Hey Guys,

We currently have a 1964 F100 Truck and an '85 F100 engine. Last year we put the engine in mounted it took it on the road. There were vibrations like crazy and suspected the transmission. When measured there was a difference of 2" from the end of the drive shaft to the front. Now the '85 engine we were wondering does the transmission have an offset distance from the actual engine block. Right now we are currently manufacturing the mounts and have it situated around where we want it but to add a bit more reassurance I would like to know if the 1985 F100 engine's transmission had an offset from the engine block.

I can't really answer your question, but you are in Australia right? They didn't make a 1985 F100 in the US.

Which would mean you are likely working with 351 Clevelands?
