I just booked a cabin so we can spend a week in Pigeon Forge for the F100 Supernationals. We're looking to fill our days with activities and places to visit. Does anyone have some "must see" ideas for the days before the show? Thanks,
Tom

The first thing I would do is change my reservation, It's a 15 hr commute from Pigeon Falls to Pigeon Forge pigeon falls - Google Maps
OK, sorry, I couldn't resist that. Of course there is Dollywood and lots of shows around Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg is a neat place just to walk around town and see all the shops and if you like shrimp, make sure to stop at The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Cades Cove is a beautiful area with hiking trails and lots of history, and a ride through the Dragons Tail is pretty cool.
Pigeon Forge... that's the place!Gatlinburg was on our list to check out. I've heard about that Tail of the Dragon scenic road. Are there alot of steep grades on that highway? Don't want to give my old truck too much of a workout. Somebody told me the Old Mill was a nice place to eat. Always up for good homestyle cooking ! Thanks
