Electrical Problems!!!!
Ok guys time to tap your knowledge...
I recently purhcased a 76 250 Highboy to resotre. I am having a hell of a time figuring this out so here we go..
I have know lights from the bed of the truck back. No Tail Lights, no break lights, no marker lights, and no turn signal. I immediately thought the harness and the wires had gone to crap, but they seem to be ok. The yahoo who had it before me spliced in a trailer brake system and I can identify what wires belong there or not. I disconnected the harness under the hood and placed a meter to it and is is flatlined with the headlights on (the head lights and front maker lights work just fine).
One more thing... when I put the truck in reverse, the rear bed marker lights come on.. but when I put pull the headlight switch the lights go off. I am at a total loss and am on my knees looking for help
