New GEM or rebuilt

I have a 2000 Ex, 7.3, 4x4, Limited, etc. I'm having some electrical problems and I'm pretty sure it's the GEM. My shop guy tried to contact Ford to get a new one, but apparently it's an obsolete part now and they don't make it. Does anyone know of a source for either a new or rebuilt GEM for my rig?
