oil pan help

ok, its a 351 rear sump truck pan, but the dipstick tube screws into the left side of the pan. anybody have any idea's about what year its for. i need to get a dipstick tube for it

Define "left side". Do you mean driver's side? (which is where my dipstick is). Or do you mean through the timing cover on the front left hand side of the engine as you stand looking at the engine? I'm thinking you mean driver side since you said it screws in (same as mine). If that's right then the only aftermarket one I've found is made by Lokar.

My engine is a 79 so you could search for that year.
If you mean in front, then that is a press in tube. You can find those at any Advance Auto/Autozone, etc.

oil pan help

That sounds like the same pan that was on my '84 Bronco. Check with the Ford dealer. They can still get them.
