First off, thank you....

Second, I can be just as big of a dick, as I am nice-Just saying...

Third-The next guy that speaks up may not be so nice....

Fourth-Given continous negativity towards other users, I am totaly sure that a mod will step in....

All I am saying man is just be nice.....But if ya wanna talk smack, I hear they're some nice chevy forums out there....

so if someone says something negative to me... i cant defend myself? where just going in circles. but negative comments are totally pointless and we need to just end this little debate

thank you for the advice, no grudges here...

I never said no defense....I was simply meaning no negative offense...

And that sounds fine man...Just don't want a mod to lay the law down-It hurts...lol

here's my take on this subjuct. i got a negative rep once for a avatar i had posted. i was asked to remove it so i did. i'm here to get information and give information if i can. i've seen some trucks worse off than other ones but i know why people drive them, they love em. about the steps on the rockers, i have the same style but just smaller ones. is there a possibility of them tearing through also.

i really dont see the point in posting up an old rusted out beat up stock truck.. who wants to see that?

Check out this image! starting it out right on the first page

Who are you to judge? Some of us like the trucks both ways. My truck has some rust and it is stock but it works just as hard as a truck without rust! If you can't see the diamond in the rough, you are on the wrong site. Not all of the pre-97's come perfect and look beautiful.

BTW, that is a sexy truck. It looked great from the start and I love the lights on top.

I drove my rusty, stock truck through TWO blizzards this year. The snow drifts were taller than my bumper and many fools got stuck. It handled like a champ without chrome rims and bumpers.

Whaddya think about that?

Someone just told me the other day when I installed my new chrome grill and bezels...... Chrome won't get you home!

One man's trash is another man's treasure. No reason to be condescending. I love my trucks.

Chevy owners love to buy their trucks like hookers: The ones that have been driven way too hard, by way too many people...

I tried to stay quiet through this whole ordeal, manly cause I'm pretty new to the site and don't want to start any crap. But there was a lot of negative mud slinging about OUR trucks here. I'm glad, that for the most of us, were on the same page. I use this site cause the people here have the same love for their truck as I do, or they wouldn't take the time to register, chat, and help. For that reason alone, I'm grateful. Just my $.02

back to the subject: Is there some extra bracing I could install to help with support for the hoop 2's?? I'm in central CA, and rust isn't a big issue, But I do want to be cautious.

All I can say is keep ya nose clean, and welcome to FTE...
