Gauge measurements

Howdy Ladies and Gentlemen!

I'm doing some custom interior work and I need to know how deep the average gauge is. Obviously, the holes are 2 1/16" round, I just need to know how much space will be needed behind the mounting surface.

I'm looking at Isspro preformax, but that may change between now and when i actually get to buy gauges. I am considering Autometers as well, so I'll take measurements for all of them.

I have limited space where I'm planning on putting a few of them and just need to make sure they'll fit before I continue.

Self Bump.

It's not super vital, but I could use an answer in the next couple of days. I'm at a stopping point on what I'm doing until I can figure this out.

With the wire clip on the back the performax are exactly 2" to the back side of the bezel.
