Whoo Hoo, just came from my machinists, Engines from Hal (Harold Norry) in Guelph, Harold is putting a short block together for me and he's ALMOST done. Should have it on MY engine stand very soon where I can finish her up with all the other goodies. That's one step closer to Arthur 2011
Recomendations and reputation have a big say in where I do business. Harold comes highly recomended in the speed world and at the time I worked in Guelph so it was easy access, that was over 5years ago. Since then we have become very good friends.
Red Ford, If the money is there I will dyno it, but as it stands now it will be on my stand for a while and I will install the parts that I have here. Yes is was balanced and line honed with ARP main studs holding the caps down. As for money, not sure, I'll let you know when I pick it up, soon I hope. This has been a looooong row to hoe my friend, what was supposed to be a 2-3 week project has turned into a 4 year stand-off. Lost my job in '08, then a FORCED retirement (long story) on a fixed income. Now MY calculator is broke hahahaha.
P.S I will post pic of the engine as i do it. Heads are done and I'll post some pics this weekend. Off topic. was in Hepworth this past weekend euchre turny at Legion won going to provincials in Gananoque in may

Good luck, maybe with your winnings you'll be able to buy some more parts
Yeah, I don't think I could buy a rebuilt 400 with those parts and labour for that kind of money. On the lighter side, the euchre turny for the Legion is always fun, it's just a looong way to go for a day of cards, friends and afew beers lmao.
