65 Shorty w/D44?
Mornin All, I bought a 65 shortbed for parts,, mainly the grill and a few others,,, I forgot to write the VIN down,,, but it does have a Dana 44 rear axle,,, had a 3 on tree,,, could you order the 44 with any engine?
And also,, is anyone looking for a 65 shortbed body and rolling frame,, I am not going to use it, and I really can't send it to scrap and live with myself,,, I will get the VIN posted tonight or tomorrow,,,

Really?! So no 9" LimSlips then? When did they start offerin them, my 77 has a 9" with LimSlip,,,

my truck was ordered with a d60 if i remember the vin decode correctly, when i crawled under it and looked, its a d44. but she's 48 years old and has had a couple owners. who knows whats been swapped and changed.
