truck problems

well yesterday i was driving home and my truck just lost all power and starting loping while it was idiling and thought it was the lift pump got a new one it will start but when it does it lopes once then dies i need some serious help not sure what it is.

can anybody help?

Idk but it could be ur cps. i know they can act up before they go out an keep ur truck from starting. but maybe someone with more knowledge on sensors will chime in. good luck

Any codes stored in it? If it died there should be something.

its not throwing any codes but i really need some help

What year truck and how many miles?

Easy stuff first ... Have you checked engine oil level on the dipstick?

When it dies, is it a sputtering death or is it like if you switched the key to off?

Try starting it with the ICP connector unplugged . Also , look for oil seeping from the sensor itself..

Did you change the oil recently?

Sounds like it went into limp mode.

If the CEL is not on, does not mean there are no codes stored. Just incase your going by that method.

Is the speedo working correctly?
Where is it idling?

Check the Hpop before starting.
How long is it taking to crank before starting?

Need more info if we gonna help you out bro.
