5.4 swap to ?

Hello ford fans I have the oppertunity to buy a really nice f350 with a 5.4 thats locked up, I would like to know if I could swap in a 90's 460 or a v10 if I could find one. what would be my big chalenges and exspensive parts. also is the auto trany the same for all f350's , the truck is a 2003 2wd. Another option is new 5.4 with a blower what do you all think. I need to tow a heavy gooseneck in the mountains....................Thanks

Swapping in a 90's 460 would be way more hassle than its worth, though the coolness factor might be there. Best swap IMO, would be a cummins swap. Use teh ford trans wiht the cummins engine.
