ROMPING IDLE WHEN WARM

JUST WONDERING WHY MY IDLE ROMPS WHEN WARM AND RUNS SMOOTH WHEN COLD.

Are you using an ICP mod ?

Look at the ICP sensor ,see if its leaking oil

If an auto trans , does it do it in neutral ?

The romps are from the PCM being confused about something ...

NO MODS. JUST AN 6637 AIR CLEANER BUT IT DID IT BEFORE THAT. WHAT IS THE PCM AND WERE IS IT.

Can you post a video with sound of it doing it? It sounds eerily similar to what my truck likes to do.

I'm probably wrong but didn't I read on here that's a IPR issue? Maybe its the other way around?

Like Action4478 said - PCM is 'confused'; most likely due to bad input data. Could be ICP sensor, IPR, even EOT sensor. A scantool would likely help in finding the 'bad guy'.

If no scan tool available, try running the engine with the ICP unplugged.
