Hi John, do you know an easy way to find road conditions along I81?? Roanoke and Lynchburg TV stations were predicting 1-5" of snow Sunday. Tried 511VA got nothing but bridge work. Son went back to NY Sun roads were clear all the way. Weather people are never wrong are they?

Hahahaha!! Nope George, the weather folks are always spot-on!

Seriously though, aside from the 511 thing or just the plain VDOT site, I'm not aware of anything. Of course, they continually update the 511 info so I would continue to monitor it. The weather I'm looking at right now for our area is calling for it to be in the upper 50s Sunday and mostly sunny. It's calling for intermittent snow showers Thursday and Friday, but no accumulation.

Yeah, I know. Better than snow though. I got up to about three inches yesterday morning. It got up to 75 today though. Great pneumonia weather.
