replacing the rug
81 f100 302 i hav a rug 3sp od.I want to get rid of this trans.I was thinking of a t5 but,first i thought i would post and c if anyone out
there might hav a better idea.this veh is just an intown driver no heavy loads

T5 would be ok, but you need an adaptor, and a tailshaft housing from a Chev S10 model to put your shifter up where it belongs.
Mazda M5OD would work, has a little lower first gear. You have to convert to a hydraulic clutch though.
