around here some of the painters have small signs that they put in the customers yard while they are painting and than leave them for maybe a month after the job is completed. might be something to look into! the signs are about the size of a yard sale sign

I do have new signs on the cargo trailer and new business cards and a yard sign, but... around here you dont leave them out because they will be gone in the morning

nice! I guess you probably don't leave your keys in the truck either? or the cargo trailer unlocked while working inside?
Heck Bill, The batteries are more expensive than most cordless drills. At least the ones I buy. I have never had a cordless drill go bad before the batteries give out. From the cheapest Harbor Freight ones to the Makitas & Skill etc. I'm still trying to figure out what they steal signs for?
Craig, other painters steal them, damage them. years ago on the east side of tucson i walked outside to see a construction truck (painter) run over my A frame sign. there was no name on the truck so i dont know who it was. i did have it right next to the road though.
Good Morning Steve, Justin & Bill.
That is crazy Bill. I worked in Sacramento, Reno, Carson when I contracted & I don't remember anyone having those problems. At least not enough to stop using them. But Arizona allows non licensed contractors to advertise also where in both Nevada & California you couldn't. In fact in California if the Contractors Board caught someone doing it they arrested them right on the spot. Including destruction of private property I believe is what they call that. They had a law enforcement division that were pretty much around. When your licensed the rules sure look different than if your not, I know that. Just the fact that the cost of doing business is greater. Anyway, that is too bad, I hate to hear what this world is coming to.
