In regards a lightning swap, I don't see why it would be any different from a standard speed density truck. Regarding the wiring changes, I don't have any links for that saved, but the info exists here on site.

The best way to search FTE is with Google. But you must put FTE or Ford Truck Enthusiasts in the search query.

Also if you want to do this, you'll need to learn the abbreviations because nothing is going to have all the terms spelled out.

Welcome & good luck.
ive read alot of forums on this maf conversion, and with the ECM # E5TF-12A650-BYA, that I am wanting to use, there is alot of conflicting information, even though they stated that they used this same computer, seems like the pinout is different on everyones computer lol, they cant all be right, remember the Highlander movie? There can only be one!

For the most part the pin-outs for truck computers are basically the same. As they progressed to SEFI/MAF, etc. they utilized more of the pins.

I have the pin-outs for the 1995 Bronco w/E4OD. If you PM me your e-mail address I will be happy to scan them and email them to you, but buying the whole 1995 Bronco electrical manual off ebay for like thirty bucks REALLY helped for the added info about the EGR and other sensor changes. Let me know.

Hellow SteelHorse4×4, the pinout for the 95 bronco ecm with e4od would be a great help,I am converting my 95lightning over to maf, and i have a E5TF-12A650-BYA computer out of a 95bronco, so im hoping I wont half to do to many pin swaping and adding, my email is gwestmoland@gmail.com
Thankyou so much!!
Ps, if you have any info on doing this conversion, any information, such as what pins I do half to change and what injector signal comes from what pin, it would be greatly appreciated, with the pin out diagram you said you could send me, it SHOULD BE EASY, LOL, I HOPE. THANKS AGAIN.

What I have is for the 95 "California Emissions" Bronco 5.8 E4OD. As I said earlier, it is a strange creature that uses a DPFE sensor, eliminates the MAP with a different EGR and EGR Tube. It also has (2) O2 sensors. I will try to get everything together tonight if I get done early enough.

SteelHorse4×4 Hi, Ford Fuel Injection posted a pinout diagram above in this forum, check it out for me if you could and see if it is coolz with your's, I will get the book you sugested and check out the egr & tube difference you mentioned, I could still use what information you have to share, the more im informed about doing this conversion before I start the better, thanyou so very much and have a great day!

These helped me the most while doing mine along with the 95 Bronco wiring manual. You might want to check out FSB Full Size Bronco website. Lots of guys there have done the swap too. Also, become VERY versed and aware of the abbreviations used, so you don't get confused. Then just make a chart with 2 columns yourself, in your writing, pin 1 to pin 1 etc. Writing it out yourself gives your mind some time to absorb WHAT you're doing instead of staring at pictures and charts all day getting more confused. Be VERY careful releasing the pins on 20 yr old connectors. You should just buy a new connector to insert stuff into. Nothing is worse than getting 2/3rds the way done and breaking a pin clip and having to do it all over again because you don't want to get it all done and then spend days chasing a loose pin on the computer connector.

Thanks alot, those diagrams are great! And good idea about getting a new conector as well, never would have thought about that until it was to late probably. Still checking on the DPFE sensor and the different egr valve and different egr tube you mentioned, but with these wiring diagrams, it is a great help, and im kinda anxiouse to get started, but im gonna be patient, and make sure all the ducks are in a row! I hate having to do things twice, so I am going to wait to get started when I am confident I have all the correct parts, love this 95lightning, its a fun truck, I just dont understand why Ford would put a speed density system on it, they should have know we werent going to be satisfied with their restricted performance! Lol thanks again for you help!!

SteelHorse4×4, I have a question I cant seem to find the answer to yet, is the F5TF-12A650-BYA BIOO ECM TUNABLE? J3 PORT? yes or no, and if not, is there a preferable ECM, that is tunable and kinda compatible with my 95lightning without doing alot of repining and sensor add and delete.

I haven't jumped into the tuning part of it yet, so sorry I can't say. There are some guys on here very knowledgeable about that. Also you can check the Moate's and Tweecer sites for some info cuz they seem to be the big names in eec-iv tuning. Conaski is running one of them, not sure which, but with this stuff "I" would take what he has to say as gospel.

BIO0 supports tuning via the J3 port.
