new 2011

I just bought a new 2011 3.7 std cab I was wondering what the threaded holes in the inside of the bed are for there are 3 sets of 2 on each side thanks

bed holes

I DO NOT HAVE A PICTURE BUT THEY ARE ON 6"CNTERS 3/8' DIA HOLES ABOUT A FOOT DOWN FROM TOP OF BED

I did a little digging for ya. I believe those are the threaded holes that would allow you to add a rail system to the bed of your new truck.

EDIT: I think the proper term is: Cargo Management System

that makes since I wonder if they would be strong enough to make and attach tie downs too

I would assume that you could make tie downs that would afix to the existing holes, but for a few hundred, why not get this system? It would certainly provide you with more flexibility when it comes to tie down options and configurations.

Does your truck already have the smaller black tie downs near the lower corners of each bedwall?
